Its core consists of metal springs encased in fabric and foam, the so-called "pocket springs," which provide individual support for the body in seven different comfort zones. This type of mattress is highly valued for its comfortable and orthopedic support in various sleeping positions. The individual pocket springs work independently of each other, which is particularly advantageous for couples, as movements of a partner are barely noticeable and the familiar "rolling up" is prevented. The different zones ensure optimal support for the spine, especially the lumbar vertebrae, which respond individually to body weight thanks to each spring.
